Rollin' Through The Decades

Films

Palomino has been lucky enough to come across a secret stash of Winstan Whitter's brilliant 2005 documentary on the history of skateboarding in Great Britain, from the first boom in the 1970s up until the (then) present day.

The amazing narrative and editing takes in Slalom, Skateopia, freestyle, the Southbank centre, Skate City, Kidderminster, Crystal Palace, R.A.D. Magazine, the sadly short-lived London Bridge indoor park, Livingston, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and so much more through to what is essentially the beginning of the mainstream's current love of the re-appropriation of skateboarding's rich culture. Featuring interviews with too many UK legends to mention.

If you have never seen Winstan's wonderful achievement then you simply have to get a copy and go along for the journey. So much more than just a rose tinted spectacles nostalgia overload.

123 minutes with 1 hour of extra material including 40 minutes of deleted scenes, a short film from the premiere tour, trailers, and a slideshow photo gallery. Comes with full colour A5 insert.
