Touching on race, gender, diversity, the olympics and the global social impact we have made Iain has put together what is one of the most "complete" critiques of skateboarding to date. While at times SSATC was daunting and inpenetrable for many readers with no architectural or academic background, Skateboarding And The City is an instantly more accessible and approachable book, without dispensing entirely of the critical theory that made SSATC such an unparalleled volume.
