Yet another brilliant book documenting the history of our obsession, this time through the lens of Sim Higginson, Joe Lewis, and the Cambridge skate scene.
While at first glance you might think that even for Palomino a book on the history of skateboarding in Cambridge might be a little niche, this wonderful book offers so much more. Much like Jono Atkinson's Welsh documentary Over Plywood, A Brief History Of Cambridge Skateboarding tells the story of a fledgling UK skate scene as a whole, even though it's concentrating on a specific city.
It's an amazing collection of archival photographs, interviews and artifacts spanning from the 70s right up to the present day.
Hardbound, 176 pages, 28 x 21.5cm.
