So happy to finally add Nestor Judkins' Salad Days Of Skateboarding 'zines to the Palomino roster, and this collection of photos from Cuba by Havana skater Ariel Gomez Lago is a perfect way to celebrate.
The photos collected here were shot during COVID19 pandemic, further isolating Cuba than it's already sadly used to. Much of what we see of Cuba seems to be through the lens of visitors so it is so refreshing to see the country as it is for those who call it home and avoid the cliched photos of old American cars and ladies smoking cigars whilst rolling them.
